The most common problem that internal bifolding doors face is that they are sliding out of alignment. This could be due to loose screws or holes in the anchor/pivot pins, or simply a misaligned door. Most of the time it can be fixed with a few simple adjustments. If, however, your door doesn't move at all, you may need to replace it.

To take the door off to open it, you'll require a screwdriver and possibly two pliers (to help loosen any pins on the pivot that are stuck). The screwdriver is used to release any locking levers that are on the bottom bracket for pivoting and the pliers allow you to wiggle the pin out and off.

This will let you double examine the guide's spacing and alignment to make sure everything is set up properly.
