Origins
The early history of Toto that began in 1917, mirrored Japan's rapid economic growth. In the first half of its existence, the company manufactured products to meet the demands of modern, contemporary urban housing. To achieve this, it used the first tunnel kiln in the country that produced ceramics in a continuous flow. It also pioneered the use of automation for production control, which allows for greater efficiency and consistency.
In the late 1980s, the company began to expand overseas in order to take advantage of sales and new markets. It launched the Cera Trading Company, importing and distributing other manufacturers' products to complement its own range of sanitary earthenware and plumbing fittings. This strategy helped increase sales and expand the firm’s global market share.
In the 1990s, Toto began focusing on research and development of water-related appliances. It also upgraded its system of distribution to better serve its customers and increase profit. The company used the same approach of just-in-time in its supply chain management as well as sales program. This led to a higher level of satisfaction of customers.
Toto continued to develop toilet technology. Its latest toilet, for example is equipped with a strong tornado flush that is more environmentally green than traditional toilets. The company makes use of recycled water for its manufacturing process, and has a green purchasing policy. Toto also manufactures bathtubs, faucets, and hand dryers with higher energy efficiency than conventional models.
The first Toto museum opened in the year 2015. It has exhibitions on Toto’s seminal products, their evolution, the group companies (all of which are made from ceramics), the history of plumbing and products such as bath units. In another gallery, visitors will find Toto products that are sold across the world. The museum also has a bathroom that features the WASHLET toilet, as well as other toilet-related innovations.
Before forming Toto the band, members of the group did session work for various musicians. Boz Scaggs album Silk Degrees featured keyboardist David Paich and guitarists Mike Porcaro & Steve Lukather, drummer Jeff Porcaro & Steve Lukather. They also performed on albums by Steely Dan, Seals and Crofts, and Sonny and Cher.

The album was a massive blockbuster, but not without difficulties. Record companies put the band on the position with the order "give us a hit record or we'll take you off the market" and the pressure was on to give it. Luckily for Toto they did with the aid of the smash single "Africa."
Toto's musical mastery owes a lot to their previous experiences in the music industry, as the band members had been session musicians for artists such as Boz Scaggs, Steely Dan, and Seals and Crofts prior to forming the group. Their distinctive sound has since become the standard for '80s pop, and has influenced many contemporary artists.
The album begins hard with songs like Running Out of Time or Unknown Soldier that show the band's ability to create great AOR tunes that slowly get into your head. The album also includes some slow, jazzier tracks like The Little Things and Chinatown. The album closes with Great Expectations, a song that mixes folk with distorted AOR and should sound like a complete flop, but is incredibly effective.
After Toto IV The band's fortunes took a turn for the worse. David Hungate left to concentrate on his solo career, and the band had to go through numerous drummers. In 1984, 스포츠토토 사이트 -

Line-up
The album's third, Turn Back,
먹튀검증 marked a return to the classic sextet arrangement of the previous albums. It was a more ferocious, constant effort with an edge that was stronger than Hydra. The edgier sound of Turn Back reflected the development of the group. Drummer Bobby Kimball's increased proficiency was evident in the vocals of Joseph Williams, who had become more confident and mature. David Paich's keyboard playing was also sharper, more complex and less akin to earlier efforts.
After touring to promote the album, the group recorded a live show in Amsterdam which was released as a set of two CDs called Falling In Between Live on Eagle Records. The studio album came out just a few months later and the band embarked on an extensive world tour to promote it. During this time, keyboardist Greg Phillinganes filled in for Paich, and bassist David Hungate left the group to spend more time with his family.
In 1998, Paich and Lukather started searching through old demos and tapes in search of a new album featuring songs that had never been recorded before. The album was released in 2001 as a duo album called Then and Now. It was the band's first album that did not contain the single track "A". The album also contained a previously unreleased track titled "Kari-Anne".
By 2003, Toto had begun to decline in popularity. The fourth album, Old Is New, was a commercial failure, and singer Williams was suffering from a serious laryngitis infection which hampered his singing. Hungate also returned to Nashville and Leland Sklar's drumming was replaced by Shem Von Schroeck.
Downes along with the other original members of Asia--Wetton, Palmer, and Howe--convened an event in England in early 2006 to discuss the possibility of reforming the band. The lineup, which was minus Howe (who was a member of Yes at the time) was later referred to as Toto XIV and toured extensively.
In 2010, the band reunited for another reunion tour with a slightly different line-up, including guitarists Mike Porcaro and Steve Lukather, drummer John Pierce, bassist Shannon Forrest, and multi-instrumentalists Warren Ham and Dominique Taplin. The group also had a guest appearance by singer Michael McDonald, and a backing singer named Mabvuto Carpenter.
