Volvo Key Fob Troubleshooting
Volvo drivers are enthralled by the remote control capabilities of their key fob. They can lock and unlock their car or start the motor and even locate it using an app for smartphones.
First, put the fob on an uncluttered work surface with the logo side facing upwards. Find the button that will release it. Put a coin between the fob cover and the fob, and gently pull it up.
Locking the Door

If it doesn't work, the owner's manual should provide a way to reset the system.
