About Toto
Toto was founded in 1976 by guitarists Jeff Porcaro, David Paich (who at the time were also well-known studio musicians working with Boz Scaggs) and bassist/singer Bobby Kimball. Taking their name from the Latin word meaning "all inclusive," the group was intent on exploring all styles of music.
