About Toto
Toto was founded in 1976 by guitarists Jeff Porcaro, David Paich (who at the time were also well-known studio musicians working with Boz Scaggs) and bassist/singer Bobby Kimball. Taking their name from the Latin word meaning "all inclusive," the group was intent on exploring all styles of music.
The third album from Toto, Turn Back, was not a success in 1981. However, they bounced back with their fourth release, Isolation,
