The Best Twin Buggy

This inline
Double Running Stroller is designed to grow with you and your family. It has multiple seating options that can be used by twins or kids of different ages. The rubber tires are filled with foam and never flatten and its soft suspension makes light work of the kerbs.
It's easy to travel because it folds down super-flat and meets the weight requirements of airline gate-checks. It also comes with a huge underseat storage basket as well as a four-panel sun canopy.
Leclerc Influencer
The Leclerc influencer is an excellent option for travelers. Its sleek design, auto-folding and dimensions that are cabin-approved make it an excellent choice. Its folded (and unfurled) width is 47cm. It is slightly bigger than the IATA standard 45cm. However, it conforms to the hand luggage requirements of airlines. It can be kept in overhead lockers on flights (subject to airline approval). It was easy to clean using a cloth and there were plenty of other items such as nappy bags, footmuffs, and buggie bags that clip onto the handles, and hoods that come with UV50+ protection.
We love the way that it is so compact when folded, and that it is able to fit easily into tiny spaces like shops, narrow alleyways and Jane's tiny terrace and is even easier to manoeuvre up and down the stairs. The bumper bar also functions as an handle. There's also a large brake that's flip-flop-compatible and comes with a colour-coded indicator. The basket is a little smaller than some other models however it's large enough to take a decent-sized changing bag and there are additional trays for drinks, snacks and toys.
It's suitable from the moment of birth and can be combined with a Leclerc Baby Carrycot or car seat with adaptors (sold separately). For older children there's a backrest that flattens, making it ideal for naps or long walks. The smart 5-point harness that is magnetic is easy to use. It's also lightweight, weighing just 6.6kg. A travel bag is also included.
Joie Evalite Duo
The British brand Joie is on a mission to "share happiness with parents who are expecting" by creating pushchairs which are "functional, stylish and innovative". The Evalite Duo is their latest twin buggy. It's designed to accommodate two children at once unlike the slightly heavier Aire Twin. It also has stadium-style seating that allows both children to see the world.
With a weight of just under 10kg at just over 10kg, the Evalite Duo is one of the lightest strollers for siblings on the market. It is suitable from birth and is compatible with Joie car seats or carrycots (with the Instant Sure Lock attachment). It's easy for you to fold, lift, drive and ride. The clever frame expands to accommodate the second child seat.
Out 'n' About say the one-handed fold is a major feature of the Evalite Duo, and they were impressed with how quickly and easily it can be put together. However, they did notice that it's more difficult to navigate bumps and rough terrain than other models.
The front seat does not fully recline and the parents needed to use their hands to lower it. This is something they'd prefer to avoid when traveling with young children. The Evalite Duo, however, is a fantastic stroller that could be improved with a few adjustments. They are impressed by the compact size when folded.
iCandy Peach
iCandy Peach, a sophisticated tandem buggy, gives parents the variety they need. It is compatible with many car seats, and folds easily by using a
single to double pushchair-click mechanism. It comes with a range of additional features, such as raincovers and liners. The rival brands charge a separate fee for these.
iCandy Peach is a popular choice among parents who are fashion conscious due to its fashionable and contemporary jersey fabrics. The new 2022 version of the Peach has been subjected to a variety of minor tweaks that improve performance and efficiency without compromising on aesthetics.
The inclusion of a ride-on board makes this the ideal option for twins. It is also a little smaller than the previous Peach model, but it still provides all the space your children could need.
This is a great double stroller if you want something stylish and adaptable. You can use it as a
single double stroller pram right from birth and then buy a
double tandem pushchair kit to turn it into a twin stroller. It has a large basket as well as five reclining positions to ensure maximum comfort for your child. It also comes with a one-handed fold and an integrated carry strap. It's heavy to store, particularly because it folds in two parts instead of just one.
iCandy Orange
This is among the most comfortable twin buggies on the market. The seats can be fitted with footmuffs and liners to keep your children warm during cold weather. The carrycot slots onto the Orange chassis easily with gates that open and is comfortable and spacious. Orange chassis can accommodate 30 different combinations of the seat and carrycot.
The wheels are designed to tackle pavements and rough ground and there's a hefty shopping basket underneath which is ideal for big supermarket shops. This pushchair feels smooth to drive with a lightweight feel and the pedal brake that is rounded is simple to use (but it's not flip-flop-friendly). It's not the easiest to fold, and the latch that keeps it folded requires two hands to unlock. After it's folded the front wheels slide under the basket, and the chassis can stand.
The Orange is a fantastic choice for parents who are style-conscious and have a toddler or baby or both. They're looking for a stroller that can grow with their child. It's also a good option for parents who are expecting a second child in the near future who require a flexible double pushchair. The iCandy Orange is not cheap however it's a versatile product that it's likely to last a while and offer a decent resale value too. It's also available with a buggy board which will reduce the number of siblings fighting over seats.
Mountain Buggy Duet
Established by a New Zealander, Mountain Buggy (part of the Mokopuna group that also owns Phil and Teds and Baby Jogger) is the first brand that focuses on all-terrain double pushchairs. The Duet side-by-side twin stroller is sleek and slim that can fit through doorways and maneuver well around tight shopping aisles. It is one the most compact and full-featured double buggies on the market and has been awarded numerous awards including Mother & Baby Twin Gold in 2014 and Prima Baby Twin Silver in 2015.
The seats are narrow enough for children of varying age groups to comfortably sit together and the seats are independently adjustable, allowing children to choose their preferred position. The large canopies come with an adjustable sun visor that can be removed, and the storage basket is extremely spacious. It works with most brands and accepts two adapters for infant car seats when you purchase car seats.
The only issue is the weight. It weighs 32.4 pounds and could be difficult to lift into and out of the trunk for Grandma. And, it is more expensive than other side-by-side double buggies. However, it has been designed to last and offers numerous features for the price. It is a good choice for urban parents who wish to avoid carrying a heavy stroller around. And, the padded harnesses and 5-point buckle ensure that it is safe for infants.
Bugaboo Donkey twin
The Bugaboo Donkey Twin is a beautiful, functional buggy with elegant design. It's a high-quality product but it's not without its faults.
It provides very few additional features, both for kids and parents. There's a small bin beside the seat that's only usable when the seat is connected - and that's the only feature it provides. There aren't any parent tray cup holders, cups, or accessory pockets and this could cause problems for long journeys.
The seats aren't very flat and the gap between the seats is quite large. Our 5-year-old had difficulty sitting back comfortably. It's a pity given that it's a premium vehicle.
On the positive side, it's easy to maneuver, and the swivel wheels work well at getting up slopes and steps. It's also slim enough to fit through the majority of doors and folds up easily for stress-free storage and transportation. It can also be switched to mono mode in just three clicks if you need more space or want to make a quick getaway. It can even accommodate a third child with the comfort wheeled board should you need to. If you're on budget there are alternatives that are less expensive. It's worth it though if you're a fan of the brand and have money to spend.
