The only drawback is that they're heavy and may be difficult to lift when carrying a child in car seats.
Easy to Assemble
Certain car seat and stroller combinations can be difficult to put together. We found that the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo was one of the easiest to build, and it comes with a handy quick-start guide that makes putting this system together a breeze. Other models we tried like the UPPAbaby Minu, UPPAbaby Vista v2, Thule Urban Glide 2 and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal, were also fairly easy to assemble. Contrary to that, the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo is difficult to put together as it requires two steps: attaching the lower anchors, and using straps that go over the bottom of the carrier. It's heavy, so it takes two people to secure the carrier in the base, and then to remove it.
In our tests we took about 5 minutes to put the UPPAbaby v2 together, which is relatively rapid when you consider how much time is saved by not having to take out each piece. The toddler seat can be attached and removed easily on the majority of these models.
