World of Warcraft - item upgrader Upgrading

Item upgrading allows players to increase the gear score of an item to 700 and also add a final perk. Items can be upgraded if they're in your inventory and you decide to take them to the kiln.

Certain items are worth upgrading due to their unique stats. (For example the perfect rolled breakpoint armor used in melee PvP). Other items, like weapons don't really change after an upgrade and therefore aren't worth the effort.

Weapons

Upgrades to weapons can boost their numerical stats, like attack damage, crit chance and PvE/PvP damage. Weapons also come with an unchanging bonus that increases their damage per second. Additionally there are many weapons with a set bonus which is activated when three or more of the same weapon are present on a single unit. In some instances, this bonus could amount to more than the amount of damage that a weapon is able to upgrade by itself.

The cost of upgrading a weapon depends on its rarity as well as its current level. For example, an +2 weapon requires two standard Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones required to upgrade a gun will increase until it needs an upgrade to a higher level of Smithing Stones. At that point, it will reset back to one.

The upgrade of weapons can also change their base stats. This is generally a positive aspect, but it may also have negative effects. In the case of items that are only used in a specific build (Whistant's shield for FB sorcs for instance) upgrading them could make them unusable unless you happen to have an extremely lucky roll.

It is possible to upgrade armor items to boost their stats. For instance, if you have a helm or chest, this will increase its base defense while gloves and belts will enhance their required strength and dexterity. Armor also offers an option to reroll its Enhanced Defense percentage, which means that it can sometimes reroll to a lower value.

The upgrade template for a weapon shows the new stats it will gain when upgraded in addition to their relative values. This means that the weapon will gain 3% attack damage if it is upgraded from an 8 attack damage sword to an 11 attack damage sword. However, the 3% doesn't mean that it will be hit 3 times less often, since it is an absolute statistic.

A weapon can also be rerolled by pressing the green button, which is accompanied by circular arrows within the item menu. This will reroll the item and alter its stats but it won't reset the weapon's level nor connect to the status of your account.

Armor

A few upgrades to your armor can make a huge difference to your survivability. Certain sets can offer MASSIVE increases in poison or curse, fire or magic resistance, which can make the journey through difficult terrain a breeze. In general, the greater defense you can offer your character, the more health you can receive from each point. Therefore, it is recommended to upgrade your armor.

To upgrade your armor, head to any of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four Great Fairy Fountains within the game, and to unlock them all, you must complete an additional quest involving the Stable Trotters. After you've completed your main quest, and the corresponding fountains, you'll have the option of talking to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the menu for upgrading armor.

The amount of materials needed to upgrade each piece of armor will vary. In general, you'll be looking at anything from three to five Red Chuchu jellies and 10 Rupees for the initial upgrade, and anywhere between five Rubies and 10 Fire-Breath Horns for each subsequent upgrade. The Champion Leathers, for example, can be upgraded to a +5 defense rating, which allows you to stay ahead in frigid environments with a lot of foes. The Snowquill Headdress, on the other is able to be upgraded as high as +20 defense, which means you're able to withstand a rout with your comrades.

You can't upgrade your armor in the same way as weapons. If you're playing as a Warrior then you should concentrate on upgrading your armor to increase physical strength or the power of spells. It is also recommended to save your armor upgrades to upgrade the armor that you'll still be wearing by the end of the story, such as the Ring of Lightning, Spectral Shield or the mask you'll wear in the final boss fight, the Monter Parts Merchant Mask.

You can also unlock some benefits to your armor by presenting the jeweler in Gerudo Town 10 Twinkling Titanite. You'll generally want to save these upgrades for the weapon you'll use to win the game. For instance, the Longsword or Battleaxe. However, it's beneficial to have some upgrades for the armor on your chest and helmets so that you can sneak around some monsters.

Potions

Potions are substances in bottles that, when consumed provide the user with an effect on their status for a short period of time. There are five types of potions, each having specific effects and durations. Certain potions can be upgraded to improve their level of effectiveness. Additionally the effects of some potions can be enhanced by adding redstone or glowstone dust them.

Potion upgrades cost a specific amount of XP, which can be earned by crafting them on a table or the chest of the Alchemist. The upgrade price varies depending on the type of potion as well as the item upgrader kit's Rarity and Mark Level.

To upgrade a potion, right-click on it in your inventory and choose the "Upgrade" option from the menu. This will open an GUI which allows you to choose the potion that you wish to upgrade, and the amount of experience they'll give you when upgraded. You can upgrade potions in batches up to five at a time, and their XP will be added to the total amount of XP you have.

Once a potion is upgraded and stored, it will not degrade in the event that you take it out again or break the bottle in the container it is kept. You can also change the name of the potion by clicking it in your inventory.

There were a few updates to the mechanics of potions in version 1.7.2. For instance, splash potions now have a duration of zero,08 seconds (this is not the same as the 22.5 seconds shown on the hover display of the item). The table of potion can now be crafted with four Wood Planks and two Glass. It can be utilized in both Survival and Bedrock. Bedrock Edition potions are not compatible with cauldrons like Java Edition. Also, putting a potion in a cauldron that is full drains the liquid and replenishes the bottle.

Finally, there are simmering potions made using dragon breath and splash potions. Similar to lingering potions, the' effect is extended by adding redstone to it. The table of potion ingredients has been rearranged to look more like the Java Edition. New potions are also added, such as the potion of leaping and decomposition.

Trinkets

A trinket could be an ornament that is small and inexpensive or piece jewelry. It can be a reference to an object or ornament that serves a purpose but isn't particularly significant like a trinket. In some cultures, trinkets are used to symbolize affection or friendship, specifically between family members.

In addition to armor, weapons, and potions, players are able to upgrade their trinkets. They can be upgraded by visiting an upgrade vendor and paying the appropriate currency. Unlike other item upgrades, trinkets can be traded out at any time without losing their status.

Upgrade vendors are located at the capitals of each zone and in some cases in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets can be purchased using tokens, gold or fragments of rare trinkets.

Upgrading a trinket is an economical alternative to buying new ones. It is possible to upgrade players for as little as 12 tokens. The new trinket will feature the same base ilvl as older one, and come with an additional upgrade items bonus of 1.

Trinkets can be re-upgraded once the old ones are not needed and allows players to boost their power and value over time. They can be traded among players and are a viable alternative to gold.

Players should upgrade their most important items first. This means that the best-in slot items for each class are first upgraded before their secondary gear and finally other pieces of equipment they will not replace in the near future (such as an earring or a cloak). It is also important to consider your class's preferred stats when selecting the items to upgrade. For instance, if Haste and Crit are the two most important stats for tankers, they should prioritize upgrading their chest, helm shoulders, belt, and chest.

When they are no longer useful trinkets can be upgraded to a higher level. The new trinket has an additional 1% bonus. Re-upgrading will destroy the trinket unless it is salvaged with the Black Lion Salvage Kit, or a salvage tool. Upgrades to trinkets are more expensive than other upgrades, but still less expensive than buying a new one.
