The Space Key is a collection of five physical items that unlocks a unique digital artwork by the yet to be identified artist. Each of the five Space Keys will feature a separate moment that occurs a few seconds apart as the Lamborghini Ultimae lifts off toward the stars. Each of the five images was captured by photographer Fabian Oefner and contains over 600 million pixels.
Oefner employed an inflatable camera with an lens to take individual images, which were later combined into the final photo. The result is a photo that is completely out of the world. It captures the beauty of Earth and the futuristic, hyperrealistic look of a car rising from the Earth. The Space Keys will be auctioned off in the near future, but the exact date and time of the event hasn't been set yet.
